hi, I'm hannah!
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, I'm an Actuarial Manager specializing in building technical mathematical and statistical models in R to represent and/or forecast data and identify trends.
(Though not your typical “Actuary”…)
I have a love for people and a passion for design, with strengths in the communication of complex topics in a simple way, packaged up in a visually aesthetic design that is easy to understand.
I’ve worked for 10yrs within the Actuarial Services Team at Medibank, an industry-leading Healthcare company providing Private Health Insurance and other Health Services to millions of people across Australia with a vision for better health and better lives. I feel honoured to work for Medibank and be part of a company with such a strong purpose towards improving the Healthcare system and bettering the lives of Australians.

I also got the oppourtunity to do a short-term-contract with The Walt Disney Company Head Office in London where I developed a subscriber growth model for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions to predict the joiners/leavers to the subscription-based streaming service Disney+. This was an absolute dream-come-true for me, to get to work for Disney, let alone live and work Overseas in London!

I also enjoy staying active and play netball once a week, do reformer pilates 3-4 times a week, go kayaking and snorkeling during summer, snowboarding during winter, and love a good challenging sunset/sunrise hike, or a social hit of badminton, pickleball, golf, bouldering/climbing, volleyball, any other water sports (and maybe even the occasional salsa/bachata dance!)
